A few years ago, my friends Frankie Latina and Sean Williamson directed films in the Milwaukee area. Actor Kumar Pallana, best known for his roles in Wes Anderson’s films, stopped by to shoot scenes for Frankie’s “Snap Shot” and Sean’s “Heavy Hands”. I was there to capture behind-the-scenes photos and had the privilege of meeting and working with Kumar. He was an incredibly warm, gentle, and kind man. Though he was only with us briefly, he became a true friend to Milwaukee’s film community.
