Orlandini Studios

As I mentioned in the Milwaukee Places gallery, many establishments open their doors to the public each year. One year, I visited Orlandini Studios in Milwaukee’s Walker’s Point area. This multi-generational family business specializes in preserving and repairing plasterwork and religious statues, including intricate decorative elements and architectural details. I was intrigued by their process and enjoyed photographing many examples of their craftsmanship.
